True Living 21 was formed in December 2009 to offer a different approach to the buying experience in the Riviera Maya region.  We first acknowledge the buyer has many choices, and to be considered, we must offer an alternative that is superior to the other available products.

Missions Statement

To provide our employers (our customers) with a product and service that meets or exceeds their expectations, not only during the sale, but for many years to come. 

Philosophy

Although we are a new company, we plan on being around for a long time. 
To achieve this, we established four core principles:

  • Our Designs:  We strive to create aesthetically pleasing, yet functional, designs. We want our buyers to be proud to call our designs their homes.
  • Our Purchasing Process:  We know that we need the buyer more than the buyer needs us.  Notice that our contract is buyer- friendly.  Examples of this include having firm completion dates in our contract, fixed costs for closing, and fixed costs for the maintenance fees.  We included penalties against ourselves (the seller), if we go past our scheduled completion date.  How many contracts have you seen that in? We invite you to review the contract features that set us apart.
  • Our Product:  From Pre-site geotechnical inspections, to third-party quality inspections throughout, to jobsite cameras available to all buyers, to final certified as-built drawings, on to final inspection reports, you will not find a higher quality project in the area.
  • Our Post-Sale Service:  Our warranty is the best in the region.  Why do we put a 10-year structural, 5-year weather tightness, and 3-year mechanical/electrical warranty on our product? 
    The answer is simple:  We truly believe our best sales tools are satisfied customers, and to achieve that, we must offer a product that stands the test of time.

Your Employees (The Developers)

The developers are no strangers to this business, and are composed of four individuals:

    • The first is an American structural engineer who has been in the commercial construction industry for 20 years, and is the owner of a successful American construction company,which has been in business since 1995, and a steel fabrication business.  This partner resides in the area half of the year, is quite vested in the outcome, and brings a technical background, along with a high standard of quality that must be adhered to.
    • The second partner is an established business owner from Mexico City.  He brings many marketing and business skills to the table. 
    • The third partner is a local Architect that has been involved with local projects and commercial construction projects throughout Mexico for the last 15 years.  He owns an architectural business that has offices in Mexico City and in the Playa Del Carmen area.  It was his design vision that you see in Madera 1.
    • The fourth partner is a local business owner who has been involved in real estate for many years.  He brings to the table an ability to get things done.  Whether it be working with the local governments for permitting issues, or working with the individual buyer’s needs, we can count on him to make things happen.
